Training courseI am an experienced Credit Risk Leader and Adjunct Professor of Finance with over 20 years of combined expertise in banking, SME financing, and higher education. Currently serving as Deputy General Manager – Credit Risk at the National Bank of Egypt, I manage a diversified SME portfolio of USD 175M and 2,400+ clients, where I successfully reduced default rates from 7% to below 5% through credit model overhauls, Basel III/IV alignment, and ESG integration. Alongside my executive role, I lecture MBA and DBA programs in Corporate Finance, Credit Risk, and Portfolio Management at leading institutions including ESLSCA University, Arab Academy, and Western State University. I have supervised 40+ theses and continue to guide research in SME credit risk, ESG in finance, and financial analytics. My certifications include Certified Corporate Trainer (ESLSCA, Dale Carnegie, Notting Hill), and I am an active GARP member and Advisory Board Member at IEMA, contributing to global education and ESG initiatives.
