Ahmed El-Shamy is an Agentic AI and automation strategist for finance, risk and product leaders in MENA. He designs AI agents, analytics and workflows that protect revenue, strengthen controls and stay aligned with regulators, with a focus on FP&A, payments, fraud management and RegTech. Ahmed combines hands-on product experience with ISO 42001-aligned AI governance and advanced training programs across the region. I work at the intersection of agentic AI in finance, AI for finance and FP&A, generative AI (GenAI) for finance, and autonomous finance and automation for banks, PSPs, fintechs and CFOs in MENA. My focus includes AI agents for FP&A automation, AI-powered financial planning and analysis, AI-driven forecasting and predictive analytics, and AI for financial reporting and closing. On the risk side, I design AI in risk management, AI for fraud detection and prevention, agentic AI fraud detection agents, transaction monitoring, AML / KYC automation, and AI-enhanced risk scoring. I also work on RegTech, AI-powered regulatory technology, compliance automation, regulatory reporting automation, SupTech, and AI governance aligned with ISO 42001 for AI in banking and AI in payments. My projects connect AI for finance teams, AI for CFOs, AI for corporate finance, and advanced data analytics in finance, turning fragmented data, models and controls into production-grade agentic AI systems and AI agents embedded in real financial workflows.
